This silvery Alexandria Necklace ($89) has become one of my favorite pieces from the Stella & Dot spring line.  I was worried it would be heavy and uncomfortable, but this bib necklace is surprisingly lightweight.  I've been pairing it with solid tops and dresses so far, which is the most obvious combination, but I think it will look great with prints and summery tanks as well when the weather warms up?

After the radio silence around here, I bring you a little casual outfit I wore back in October.  Isn't this necklace fantastic?  Definitely an outfit-maker.  This marks the last of the leftover 2011 outfit posts--everything going forward will be much more recent!

Taking time off from blogging was good for me.  It gave me a chance to reassess, spend time just relaxing & doing things often neglected, and make sure I still wanted to devote time to the blog.  And the good news is...that I do!  I'll try to get back to a more regular posting schedule, but in all honesty, I've decided to just post whenever the notion strikes with no pressure if I don't.  Hopefully you guys will be ok with that.

I am hoping that I wrote complete, logical sentences above, but I can't be certain since I'm simultaneously blogging and watching the state of the union address.  If anything political slipped in or if the whole thing didn't make sense, you now know why.
